Privacy policy

Effective 26 October 2026. This policy covers the Deterica Kit app for iPhone and the website deterica.com. Both come from DETERICA LLC, 1114 Belvedere Dr, Allen, Texas 75013, United States.

The app collects no data

The Deterica Kit app has no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. It sends nothing to us or to anyone else, and it has no server to send to.

The choices you make in the app, such as the grip, the position of the lever and the colours of the hand, stay on your phone so that the app opens where you left it. Delete the app and they are gone.

Bluetooth

When you tap “Find a kit”, the app uses Bluetooth to find and talk to a Deterica Kit on your desk. The app and the kit exchange the position of the lever, the grip and the firmware version. That exchange stays between your phone and the kit. The firmware that the app can install on a kit is inside the app, so an update downloads nothing.

The website

deterica.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people read. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives data about your visit, such as the pages you open, your approximate location, your device and your browser. We see that data only as totals. Google's own policy covers what Google does with it. You can block it with the opt-out add-on of Google or with a content blocker in your browser.

The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for those files. A video loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play.

When you send the contact form, your name, your e-mail address, the role you chose and your message go through Web3Forms to our mailbox. We use them to answer you and for nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not share them. Write to us and we delete them.

Children

The app collects no data from anybody, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
