Why this exists

This did not begin as a business plan. It began with my father

I went looking for a hand for him. What I found was a market where a good hand costs more than a car, takes months to obtain, and then asks the user to learn a muscle signal before it will move at all. For a lot of people that is not a choice between devices. It is the difference between a hand and no hand.

So I set out to build the thing I could not buy: control that works from a movement a person already has, and that the person can set up alone, at the kitchen table.

Somewhere along the way it stopped being only about him. The same wall stands in front of everybody who has been told that a multi-grip hand is either unaffordable or too hard to use. I would like to take that wall down for them too.

I do not build it alone. Siarhei Arefyev turned the control into working hardware on the first hand, and he is working with me on this project.
